Yes, every moment comes with many choices..when choices come, confusion arises. Realizing this fact, the mind becomes afraid and tries too hard to tear the veil of confusion with intellect and in the process sinks deeper into the mud of ignorance. Confusion is itself an element of mind. Mind as we know it, will cease to exist without confusion. I am not glorifying the confusion. But confusion has a place. The trouble begins when it leaves its order and envelops other faculties of mind. I question the idea of a mind without a confusion. A mind can perceive things clearly, exactly the way things exist without any distortion, even in a confused state. A mind which thinks freely, which has more depth has also a space for confusion. A narrow and hardened mind is devoid of tenderness and flexibility needed to provide a breeding ground for confusion.
