Ceasefire violation : Pressure further mounts



The tension on Indo - Pak border has further escalated after the death of 5 civilians and 34 injured people on Indian side. The BSF Forces has reported to have retaliated very aggressively which has done far more damage on Pakistan side. The intelligence agency and the Pakistan media has reported the death of 15 civilians by the retaliatory action of BSF forces on border.

The leading newspaper of Pakistan "Dawn " has today put headlines as 'AJK civilian injured in Indian shelling'. It quoted a police officer as saying, 'Indian troops used heavy weapons... The shelling was intense, rather more than intense.'

At the same time UN secretary general Ban Ki moon has asked India and Pakistan to resolve their issues diplomatically and through dialogue. 

Meanwhile, Pakistan has also lodged a protest with India on the alleged ceasefire violations and has even approached the UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) office over the situation.
